Germanys left-leaning Social Democratic Party SPD celebrated a narrow lead in exit polls published after voting ended in Germanys federal election but the final result of the closely fought. While the next chancellor of Germany remains a mystery for now the projections seem to dispel investor fears that the country could end up with a coalition of the SPD the left-leaning Die Linke.
